i'm so tired of playing with this bow and arrow

the last month has been so happy, so stressful, so BIG. work is such a joke, it seems like the biggest bog down in the history of shitfuck. no light at the end of that sewage tunnel. but at least i got erika out here to help me out and share the aggravation. now she's leaving. too soon. too, too soon.

look at her beautiful self on the plane to melbourne:

in other exciting facets of my life (ok, shopping...), look what i got in chinatown!

my favourite letter paper is the one that says the space ship leaves from the south gate (or, to be precise - "the departure for space journey is at south gate"). that, and the one that says "i'm dreaming of having a fish". dude - who isn't??

then i scored big. three italo calvino and two haruki murakami books for under $100. mmmmmm....

today i found this painting that i LOVE LOVE LOVE. space kangaroos!! the story is printed on the back of the canvas.

"the biggest bog down in the history of shitfuck" made me laugh... although I feel for you. work. bah.

those book covers look incredible. now i have to go look them up on amazon. no clue who those authors are.

a chinatown in australia?! wow. who da thunk it. i'm tempted to go hit up crystal mall for some china goodies myself. :)

haruki murakami and italo calvino - i LOVE them! they are both pretty amazing. if you are gonna try them, go for marcovaldo by calvino and kafka on the shore by murakami.

there's actually a huge vietnamese, chinese and thai population in australia - especially in sydney and melbourne. sydney is as big as toronto!

if you do go shopping in crystal mall, i wanna see your goodies!!

What a great post! Lovelovelove the stationary, Engrish stationary is the best... I can't wait until the Richmond Night Market opens so I can buy stuff to send to you <3

Too bad work is so shitty, I figured but I've been hopeful that things had gotten better for you :(

I've really been enjoying all of your beach photos and can't wait to see some from Erika's trip.
